On December 23, 2025, Brazil's Executive Management Committee of the Foreign Trade Council (GECEX) issued Resolution No. 834/2025, approving a review request submitted by Chinese manufacturers/exporters. The resolution adjusts the final anti-dumping sunset review tariffs on automotive tires originating from China for the third time.
According to the updated tariff schedule, anti-dumping duties will continue to be imposed for a period of five years, with rates ranging from $1.25 to $1.77 per kilogram. The affected products include 65 and 70 series automotive tires with rim sizes of 13 inches and 14 inches, and tire widths of 165 mm, 175 mm, and 185 mm. These products fall under Mercosur tariff code 4011.10.00.
The resolution takes effect immediately upon its publication.
