On July 4, Brazil's Executive Management Committee of the Foreign Trade Chamber (GECEX) issued Resolution No. 744 of 2025.
The resolution pertains to passenger car tyres originating from China and concludes the third anti-dumping sunset review with a positive final determination.
Brazil has decided to continue imposing anti-dumping duties on the products in question for a period of five years. The anti-dumping duties range from $1.25 to $1.77 per kilogram.
The affected products are passenger car tyres in the 65 and 70 series, with rim sizes of 13 inches and 14 inches, and tyre widths of 165 mm, 175 mm, and 185 mm. These products fall under Mercosur tariff code 4011.10.00.
On July 25, 2024, Brazil initiated the third anti-dumping sunset review investigation on passenger car tyres originating from China. On February 13, 2025, a preliminary affirmative determination was issued as part of the review.
