On February 9, Egypt announced an adjustment to its anti-dumping duties on truck and bus tires originating from China and Thailand.
The anti-dumping duties on Chinese products, previously set at 9.8%-36.9% of the CIF (Cost, Insurance, and Freight) price, have been revised to 22%-56%. Meanwhile, for Thai products, the duties have been adjusted from the previous 7.5%-31.2% of the CIF price to 6%-20%.
The affected products fall under Egyptian customs code 4011200010. The new measures take effect immediately upon the announcement and will remain valid for two years.
